Buzztv new ‘Classic’ (Classic 64) is the latest Generation 5 edition and by far Buzztv best customised Android 11 AOSP and inherits the some of best features of their iconic 4500 series and the latest X5 Series.
The Classic has the generous 4GB DDR4 RAM for faster access to stored files/applications, navigation, speed, and multitasking. Benefit for Buzztv bespoke Buzztv 5 exclusive application (see below for further details) with its integrated PVR+ for recordings plus the latest wake and record feature!
The Classic also offers AV1, a royalty free video codec designed for video streaming. A significant advantage over the more commonly used AVC (H.264) and HEVC (H.265) codecs. AV1 provides high-quality video at low bitrates, Using the latest hardware acceleration techniques giving fast encoding and decoding up to 30% lower bandwidth consumption than other formats like HEVC (H.265). Additionally supporting 10-bit colour depth and high dynamic range (HDR) while also being able to stream at low data rates.

HARDWARE
The Classic adopts the 4500 series honeycomb design on the top of the housing in high gloss black with a clean matt black side walls consisting of 8 corners.
The rear of the Buzztv Classic has the new fast USB Type-C Power, Optical Out, HDMI, AV (Audio/Video Jack) and 1GB High Speed Ethernet Ports.
The right side of the Classic has the common micro-TF Card slot, USB 2.0 and high speed 3.0 ports. The Left side offers a power button marked as PWR.
BUZZTV BT-250 DUAL IR & BLUETOOTH REMOTE CONTROL WITH AIR MOUSE
Controlling your Buzztv Classic has never been easier with the BT-250 remote control. Designed to be stylish, ergonomic, and runs on two AA batteries that gives 2.5x longer life.
The BT-250 has a dual Infrared (IR) and Bluetooth capabilities. The IR is commonly used for a direct line of sight and even better pair this remote control to Bluetooth via the Android 11 remote and accessories menu to benefit for even more ease of use!
Via Bluetooth you can use the motion tracking air mouse option on the BT-250, giving you ultimate control in games, apps, and navigation. No need to aim the remote either, the BT-250 will work without needing to point the remote at your device and can work at a longer distance.

BACKUP & RESTORE OPTION
Buzztv developed the Back up and Restore option to allow you to save your custom settings, favourite channels, VOD and TV series listings and categories groups as well as servers. You can restore the back up on any buzztv android device running Buzztv 5!
